Vitamonk HMB Product Recall
~ NO other products are affected ~

Dear customers,

In the past couple of days you might have received an email from Amazon stating that our products are part of a recall. The only product affected by this recall is our HMB product, which we had already removed from the marketplace.

Before we go into details, if you have ANY other product besides the HMB, then it is not part of the recall.

Amazon mistakenly sent out messages to ALLLL of our customers for ALLLLL of our products, and Amazon is basically impossible to get in touch with to ask them to stop. So I'll be in the corner crying until then... 


Update: After having to hire attorneys to deal with Amazon & the former manufacturer, we FINALLY got clearance and verification that all of our Amazon listings were indeed improperly shut down. We're finally able to sell again.

Now, the Details of what's happening:

Recently we were made aware that one of our old (former) contract manufacturers was requested by the FDA to do a product recall for any and all products manufactured by them at their facility. They were making products for around 2,000 brands. This was thankfully not due to anything dangerous being found, but rather they did not keep their cGMP (good manufacturing practices) certificates up to date, and thus were not following the quality control needed.

This is not a good sign, which is why we stopped using them in 2018 after we instated new additional screening processes for our manufacturers. 

We are very thankful for the FDA doing their job keeping manufacturers accountable. 

Due to this though, we are doing a recall on all of our old existing bottles of our "HMB" product. If you have purchased HMB from us, please contact us so that we can issue a refund and give you further instructions. 

Note for Amazon customers

As stated above, Amazon has (unfortunately for us) made an error and is notifying all customers of all products of the recall. This is not true, and you can ignore it for any other products from Vitamonk. The recall is only for HMB, which is the only product we were selling from the shutdown manufacturer.
